While other pop stars are twerking and flashing flesh, Madonna has decided to use her powers for the greater good. In just one week, she will unveil secretprojectrevolution, a 17 minute film that questions the concepts of human rights and freedom of expression in our society today. The film has been co-directed by Steven Klein, and will be available as a free download on BitTorrent. Secretprojectrevolution is part of a larger initiative called Art For Freedom, a public art project curated by VICE, where people around the world are be asked to submit their personal freedoms and protests as videos, music, poetry and photography. ”We have created this platform to give people around the world an opportunity to answer the question: “what does freedom mean to you.” People are encouraged to upload their art, tagging the posts with #artforfreedom.
